Love God (heart, soul, mind, strength). Love your neighbor as yourself.
God/Heaven & the devil/hell are real! Eternity is a VERY long time.
Judgement day & life review are coming – maybe soon. Be prepared!
We will be judged on how we have loved – especially the poor.
How am I sharing the gifts I’ve been given? (time, talent, & treasure)
I’m abundantly blessed. To whom much is given, much will be required.
We are not called to comfort, we are called to greatness!
One cannot become a saint with only 50% effort. Be not afraid!
Not MY will but YOUR will be done. To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul!
God is present & close. Be patient with myself; listen, He will guide me.
Loving God does not make us good; God’s love for us makes us good.
Jesus didn’t ask Peter, “Do you believe in me?” Asked, “Do you love me?”
Prayer not only helps our relationship, prayer IS my relationship w/ you.
Miss no single opportunity of making a small sacrifice, do it for love.
Encourage others: come, & you will see. How Jesus is active in my life.
Lord, help me see you in others & your love in concrete ways today.
It takes a lot of pride to be worried. God is in control. My Lord and my God. Jesus, I trust in you.
It is necessary for us to undergo many hardships to enter the kingdom of God. Why? We are not yet who we ought to be; we lack love & trust.
Instead of fear of the unknown, trust in our loving God who is known.
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46
Give all glory, know, obey, follow, serve, listen, trust, ask, rely, pray, study, repent, sacrifice, carry cross, thank, rejoice.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Love tenderly, serve, wash feet, forgive, show mercy, extend grace, apologize, seek justice, bear fruit, bring hope, comfort, encourage, smile, evangelize, spend time, assume best intentions, help others seek heaven, find potential & positive in others, show others MY love for Jesus.
Holy, humble, meek, modest, patient, gentle, kind, charitable, thankful, sincere, merciful, compassionate, truthful, joyful, faithful, hopeful, diligent, understanding, vulnerable, wise, courageous, detached from possessions, chaste, prepared, a witness, a peacemaker, good steward, salt & light, a disciple, become a saint.
Sin, temptation, gossip, self-righteousness, sarcasm, pride, judging, selfishness, self-importance, cynicism, greed, fear, anxiety, anger, defensiveness, envy, hypocrisy, lust, apathy, seeking revenge, blaming others, need for control, obsession with comfort & security, focus on shortcomings of others, only a benefactor, participating in unjust systems.
