The Catholic lectionary provides the readings and the responsorial psalm assigned for each Mass of the year (Sundays, weekdays, and special occasions). The readings are divided by day or theme (baptism, marriage, vocations, etc.) rather than by the books of the Bible.
The lectionary is divided into two cycles:
Sunday
A, Matthew (2026)
B, Mark & John 6 (2027)
C, Luke (2025)
Easter, John
Weekdays

II, Mark, Matthew, then Luke (2026, 2028)
